They really weren't necessary and in fact they would cool your hot food down to fast so I found those to be annoying also. It was a fairly cool evening and they have these ceiling fans above you that come on and off with a timer. We ate outside on the patio, to my dismay we were seated a few tables away from a jamaican woman playing a kettle drum so it was difficult to carry on a conversation. I have driven by this place many times, my daughter and her boyfriend really like it so my wife and I decided to give it a try. If the waitress was not lying management should have stopped by to apologize about our app. Well about another 10 minutes later the waitress brought us our check, no dessert menu. My wife smiled and said maybe we'll have room for dessert instead. Should she be blaming the kitchen? I think she forgot to order it. 10 minutes later she returned to the table to tell us that the kitchen never made our app and they "do this to her all the time". She said she would make this her "top priority". The waitress went to check on our appetizer as if it was ready I was still interested in trying it. When we next saw her we asked about our appetizer and as this conversation happened another server delivered our meals. 20 minutes later we were very hungry and realized we hadn't seen our waitress(or appetizer) since we ordered. Yes, taking away broccoli and giving green beans was going to cost me $$. We were told we could not swap vegetables in our order without incurring an additional fee. We each ordered a beer and then put in our appetizer and dinner order. There was a 50 minute wait but after a few minutes we secured a table in the bar area.

My wife and I visited at a dinner time on a Saturday night. If this place doesn't fix these problems, they don't have a chance. For the price you pay.Nashua has much better options. This place was still only a couple months old, but man do they need some improving on service & drinks. The drinks here are not exactly a bargain price wise, and the bartenders need to step up cuz they really sucked. Finally when the drink arrived.we were all done with our meals.ridiculous!! Anyway, the drink did taste pretty good.but I'd bet the farm there was no booze in it. I ordered some tropical drink and 15 mins later.still no drink!! At this point I have already finished my meal.and couldn't even get a glass of water as the waiter was lost in action. The second round of cocktails I decided to try something else. This guy would get lost, and was nowhere to be found when we needed other drinks and condiments. The worst part was the disappearing waiter. the seasoning was decent, but for what this place y some fresh shrimp!! I had fish tacos for dinner, and it was okay.nothing special. My GF ordered a shrimp cocktail salad which came out in a cocktail glass.and the shrimp were frozen and tasteless. This drink was VERY strong (okay by me!!) Trust me, a couple of these and I would have been feeling no pain!! Can't remember what other ordered for drinks, but 2 of the 4 of us complained of tasting no booze. I ordered a "Pain Killer" which is something that is very popular in the Virgin Islands. The drink menu was extensive, and the atmosphere has a really cool tropical feel to it. We decided that we'd go early (around 4pm) due to this place being a total mob scene at night. I would go to work anxious everyday, hoping that it would be better than the last.Went here with another couple a month or two ago. I would of stayed if the cons didn't outweigh the pros.

The most enjoyable part of the job was the culture, diversity, and the co-workers that made the day fly by. The hardest part of the job was communicating with the managers, and being yelled at for things that weren't your fault and not being able have an adult conversation with them.

Most of them were usually really helpful and welcoming. The co-workers were great and really friendly. Besides the ones that were there when the restaurant opened. I've seen their mistreatment done to every host who worked there. They keep losing greeters for this problem because they can't own up to their own mistakes, and instead blame everything on someone else. The management there really needs to work better on communication when theres more than one of them working on the floor. It's difficult to jump into because theres too much to learn and so little training. My trainer must of known that it wasn't right because she gave us all the answers anyway. You have about 2 days to memorize all the food and alcoholic drinks when they tell you you'll be tested. It was usually pretty busy and it always seemed like they never scheduled enough hosts or servers. I worked almost everyday at Bahama Breeze for about 3 months.
